HELP! i think my horse is lame due to thrush but i dnt no alot about i

my horse has a stronger smell than usual in both his front feet, his frogs are very soft and damp and are breaking away alot, there is no discharge and he isnt sore for my to prod and poke im lost?! iv cleaned his feet with water and hydrogen peroxide and polticed his feet earlier today do u think that will help? the foot he is lame on also has an old splint aswell that i think has come up a bit could that b y? or could he have an absess? please help,jodi

My advice would be to call in your vet so that he can diagnose what the problem is.

If it is thrush I would suggest that you use a tea tree spray after tubbing in epsom salts and water, really worked for us.

call the vet, better to find out what it is and get him better, than to waste time guessing.

if its thrush it stinks wash twise a day with hiby sgrub that will help
