Help - Im Desperate!

Hi all,

I don't know if anybody can help me, I have just moved to Stratford -Upon- Avon and cannot find a livery yard with vacancies ANYWHERE!! I simply cannot keep my horse where she is now, as its a 30 all round trip everyday and costing me a fortune.

I have tried Park farm and Bearley cross but to no results, anyone else have any other ideas?! Need to ideally be within a 7 mile radius - I am not fussed about facilities as long as i get a stable ample storage and grazing.

Try the BHS list of approved livery yards.

I don't know the area but I have been stopped by people looking for livery while out riding and a lady stopped at the yard and came and asked. Not all yards advertise or have websites. Is it worth a drive round and ask a few people.

Have you tried tack shops in the area - they usually have a wall with adverts pinned on it. And sometimes people working there know.

Or preloved has some ads foe lovery vacancies as well.

There are a few yards around Henley in Arden/shrew key, but I think that's a bit far?

I'd advertise in the local feed merchants too, and ask whoever you get your hay from if they can recommend anywhere. Hay deliveries go to allsorts of places you'd never think to try!
