Help - I am hoping to take my 3 yr old to some county shows this year (I have taken her to a couple of local shows and will take her to a couple more before going to a county show), but I need some advice . . .
I've only competed at BE, BD & BSJA before so this showing malarkey is all new to me. So far I've been wearing tweed jacket, shirt with coloured stock, tan/cream trousers, short black boots, gloves and hard hat with velvet cover - Is this correct - should I wear anything different to a county show ?
Also, she's not the most patient standing still or showing her big trot (we're practicing at home a couple of times a week), but do county judges accept that youngsters don't always have the best concentration ? I don't want to waste my time going if it's only professionals attending - I want this to be a good experience in a busier and bigger atmosphere before hopefully attending BE young horse classes next year.
Can someone explain the triangle format as some of the county shows do this and I have no idea what it is !!
Apologies if it's a bit long winded . . . .
