Hello all,

I am compiling a database of all the horse feed manufacturers and products and would be grateful if forummers could have a glance over the companies I've covered to date and tell me if there are any others you use that I've missed out.

So far, I've looked at:

Allen & Page
Argo
Baileys
Balanced Horse Feeds
Blue Chip
British Horse Feeds
Charnwood Milling
Dodson & Horrell
Dengie
Equilibra
Friendship Estates (Readigrass and Mollichaff)
Northern Crop Driers (Graze-on)
Red Mills
Rowen Barbary
Saracen
Simple System
Spillers
Sumo
The Pure Feed Company
Topspec
Trident
Winergy

Are there any other companies I should be looking at?

Both the ones I am interested are on there, would be grateful for a link to the database pm'd to me when ready ??

Will do, its just a project I'm working on in bits of spare time though so not sure when it will be in a working format! I'm looking at trying to get full figures for MJDE/kg, starch levels, protein, oil and fibre, ingredients and any special claims for each feed, and hopefully work it so you will be able to search for and compare similar feeds.

Not all manufacturers give full details on their marketing info/websites so where I've got gaps I need to contact them and ask if they have the information.

Is there anything else you think ought to be included? I've thought about including vitamin and sugar levels where available, but would that be more detail than is necessary?

We feed Falcon Feeds, most of the feed companies have this info available. But maybe you could find out sugar levels, vitamin levels, recommended feeding amounts, starch and protein levels etc, and if molasses are included.

I've found that there are some companies out there that don't particularly like to list ingredients etc!
