Animal lintex? wet dressing?
put a bit of AL in a dish, boil the kettle, poor over the AL, take the old dressing off, get as much hot water out of the new AL as you can, place over the effected area! the side with the plastic to the out side, bandage to keep in place. I then put an old plastice feed bag over the top and cover in gaffa tape, all done!

You can use a disposable nappy instead of AL. It cheaper and you can use the tapes to stick it around (not to
)the foot.
Makes it easier to get the bandadge\plastic on too.
