Help I've killed my Ariats!

the leather where the boot bends on the foot is cracking, can anyone give me some tips for damage control? Thanks!

Yup, don't use them for mucking out!

When mine did this I stopped using them for mucking out, gave them a good clean and slathered leather balsam on them. It stopped it getting much worse.

Oh that's annoying, kind of defeats the whole point of having them as they are my winter yard boots!

My husband (firefighter) uses it on his fire boots, it basically makes them waterproof, but also makes them soft .... its a leather conditioner

Its quite an old fashioned product

Mine started this way and then I killed them completely, next set will be looked after properly!!!
