Help! Looking for previous owner/History.

I got a new mare who is standing at 14hh and is a flea bitten grey. She is very Arab looking but it says nothing in her passport! The lady who sold her to me had got her from the Exeter sales and on her passport she only has one previous owner in 2008 who came from Taunton.
She is very nervous of people and has had some poorly fitted tack so I have now got correctly fitted tack and trying to spend lots of time with her to gain her trust back with humans.
Any information would be lovely. Thanks.

Oooohh, she looks absolutely gorgeous.

Its just an idea..... and might not turn up anything, but the local Arabian breeder around here is a Michael Harris of the Gittisham Coombe Estate; its just possible that he might know something? She has a certain "look" and I know a livery years ago who had an Arab which she'd got from there.

Anyway, just throwing it out.

Register on the Tracing Equines website, put her picture on there with any info you have, an old owner could be looking for her. This worked for me when I was trying to trace a horse I had sold.

It might be a good idea to look at the web site Arabian Lines and put this same query on the forum there as the members are very helpful and know the Arab Horse World inside out!
