Help, lump on head, itchy and head shaking

Hi,

I am going to get the vet out in the week as I don't feel this is an emergency but Arnie has developed lumps between his eyes, vet initially said he had clonked himself (he scratches rather vigorously). he is now scratching a lot, started shaking his head (up and down) and he had a run of sneezy/coughs on our hack yesterday.

Am I right in thinking potential allergies? the only thing that doesn't fit is the lumps aren't in the sinus diagnosis area but higher and are rather solid.

Any clues??

Could be from a knock to the head, extra bone forming can cause lumps on the front of the head a bit like a splint on the leg! Needs X-rays to diagnose and can cause head ache like symptoms.

This is what the original vet said, makes me feel a bit better (she used the words splint but on the head!). Might be worth me ringing the same vet to see if she thinks the head shaking is related
