after struggling to loan my little TB out i decided to put him out on loan but insist that he stay on current yard... so found a really nice girl who has him on full loan- she does everything with him and i get to keep my eye on him because he's still in the stable next to my other horse. i still sort out shoeing but she (or her mum
) pays for everything. so she's been getting on well with him, mostly hacking but doing some schooling and bits of jumping. now i feel quite mean because i'm always swanning off in my horsebox to lessons etc and feel that i should ask her if she wants to come sometimes. (should add that this is a horse that is a tit to load and won't travel in a normal trailer so will be quite hard for her to go anywhere with him under her own steam)
what is putting me off is
a) don't want her to think i'm being interfering and telling her what she should be doing with him.
b) he can be a bit of a looney on things like farm rides- she's perfectly competent but i know i would be worrying and maybe not focusing on what i'm doing
c) i wouldn't want to take her all the time and it could cause problems if they start to expect to be taken!
but then on the other hand the horse likes going out and about and i think she would enjoy it too!
so do i offer to take her or not???!
