I'm planning to take Jenny show-jumping tomorrow. At the moment there is one venue that I go to regularly that hosts unaffiliated indoor SJ nearly every weekend. There doesn't seem to be a lot of other venues holding SJ around here at the moment.
I noticed in the local freebie paper that there is SJ held at a different venue tomorrow but when I rang up about it - it is held outdoors on grass. I'm not sure whether this will be a problem or not.
Basically I've only just bought Jenny back into jumping after about a 2 year break and at the moment she is going great. She still rushes a little bit towards the end of the course but is going really well. At the regular venue she goes calmly round the entire course - as it's indoors I can use the sides of the arena to back her off a bit and keep her steady. I'm a bit worried that that might all go to pot outside! On the other hand it seems a shame not to go to a different venue now there is the opportunity. I'm very indecisive so any opinions will be helpful. Weather might be a factor!

To be honest I think the weather forcast will have an imnpact on any decision to be made. Given that tomorrow is supposedly wet I'd go for the indoor venue.

I know - its looking a bit miserable out there atm. I managed to get both my dressage tests done today before it started though. A friend has just told me about another venue for tomorrow that is also outside but on a surface so a bit more enclosed than jumping on grass.
I have decided if its tanking down in the morning then I'm off to the usual place and if its ok then I'll go to the one my friend mentioned. I just feel I need to get to some new places to test whether I really have enough control back. The indoor venue is virtually like Jen's second home so she's always more relaxed there than anywhere else.
Just pray for a dry night.
