Specifically a doughnut style bed (soft, not plastic) with raised sides, removable and washable covers and giant sized - 48" or thereabouts. Can't afford the lovely Tuffie nest, needs to be under £50. No garish colours. :p

Some giant ones on eBay but none have removable covers, any ideas?

these beds are by far the best I have ever had, the leather keeps its shaped and stays nice and rigid and cleans well with a cloth and the wolf hair cushion inside is reversible one side leather and they can be washed......I paid £19.99 for them and they are £60.00 else where, maybe not be big enough for 2 big dogs but they dod fit a biggie of mine and a smallie lol

I have one of these and Loki adores it. Detachable covers for washing, high sides for snuggle-ness etc., :) I think I bought the 110x90cm as the dimensions are only slightly bigger than his XL crate, and I thought that the raised cushions would impede a lot on 'sleeping space'. If I'm honest though I could have easily bought the size down, and he tends to curl into one end (and either rests his head on the side or buries it under the cushion) and only takes up 1/2 to 1/3 of the actual bed. To put it into perspective he's a GSD, 28/29" at the shoulder and 40k weight so not a small lad. :)

He jumped in it the moment I had it set up in the living room, but then he does love snuggly places. It's in his crate these days and works really well there, as it has to be squashed in a bit which pushes the sides further up and keeps them 'up'- a bit like putting bankings in a stable. The only downside is he likes it so much he doesn't really bother getting on my bed anymore, and this old building is freezing this time of year. :(

I've these outhwaite waterproof ones that you can machine or jet wash and i like that the hair doesn't embed in the material so can just give it a quick hoover. Its comfy i sometimes sit on it as its near the phone and i don't think the cushion will go lumpy in time. Hattie in the bed is only 25in high/26kg, but has loads of room. We got the XXL size on sale for £30 but were originally £60ish from local petshop chain, think its this one http://www.petrange.co.uk/Dog-Beds/80cm-(32-inch)-Navy-Oval-Askrigg-Bed,

Pix that one is perfect, ta! :D

The other two would be on the small side I think, they are slimmer and lighter than a labrador but a great deal longer (especially D who is a full 4" longer than R ).
