Hi Everyone!
I am a fairly new rider (been learning for about a year on and off) and I re-started lessons at a new riding school a couple of months ago with the intention to have a lesson every week. It started off fine and I built up my confidence a bit again after having a scare (I went to see a lady about sharing her horse and he bolted with me - probably silly of me to get on him being a newish rider but hindsight is a wonderful thing and she assured me he was "bombproof" so being nieve on I got!). Now, all of a sudden, I am having such trouble booking a lesson with the school and as a result I now haven't had a riding lesson for four weeks. I would find a new riding school but the only problem is that it was my birthday recently and my friends got me some vouchers for this riding school so I have to carry on going there until I have used them up! Can anyone suggest a good riding school that will teach a nervous adult in the Hertfordshire or Essex area (around Ware or Waltham Abbey/Epping). I have already been to Woodredon and High Beech and found them both pretty useless too. Is that just the way riding schools are or do I have the right to expect a decent service booking and teaching wise? Most of the instructors have been fine, it's just the booking of the lessons I have a problem with! Any advice would be great. Also, I am meant to be seeing a girl about a share this weekend and I would be grateful of any tips on beginners sharing. Thanks guys. xx
