So we are getting a collie puppy soon and we can't decide what to call her, I wanted Elsa and mum wanted Jem :D But at the moment we are thinking of either Fizz or Lottie. Any suggestions are very welcome!

Here she is!

One and 2 syllable names tend to work well with collies especially if you'll be exercising them on farmland. Our BC's are DD and Boo and are always trained to instantly drop on command, just in case of emergency. They are not working dogs but pets.
It's so easy to yell "BOO DOWN" or "DD DOWN", we did have another rescued gorgeous blue Merle BC already named Jester so we shorted it to Jess. He never took any notice anyway and was not allowed off lead.

Your puppy looks adorable and the list of names are cute too and I can't add to them BUT as you will spend quite some time with your pet and will need her to be able to go off lead to exercise herself fully, a bold name is best for recall.
I do admit to using a football ref whistle to gain their attention before yelling them back and they come n go for ages.
I tried a proper shepherds whistle, I couldn't get so much as a peep out of it. Lol

Anyway, short n sweet is my view (DD stands for doolally dog)

We also have Mollie the Labrador but she doesn't go far unlike the collies, Beau the Rotti and Roxy Rotti saved by Kerilli. As she was a stray she prob won't ever go offlead or certainly not for a long time, but I bought a 50ft line for her.

Wishing u lots of fun n games with your new baby.

PS I don't know what other peoples views are but we think those puppy training pads are a waste of money as Beau just ran off dragging them to chew and play with and I was worried by him swallowing the plastic backing. I'd never buy them again, I'd stick with good old newspaper.
Sorry for the long reply when I haven't even suggested a name :-)
