Help me with chaps Xmas Pressie please!

I want to buy my husband some black leather gaiters for Christmas, I want it to be a surprise and hopefully to fit??????

They will be used for hunting, with black leather jodhpur boots, so would like a good pair so they look like long riding boots. Does anyone recommend any around the £40 mark and what size for a 6 foot 2 man with typical skinny calves??


Will it be impossible to guess?? he weighs about 13 stone!.. Obviously if I start measuring him he will suss!

Old Mill Saddlery has the Ariat Crowne Chaps for £36 - normally around £120!!! I got some for my husband - Medium Tall and they fit him beautifully. Lovely, lovely chaps xx

My husband is 6 foot tall and has annoyingly slim legs - he refuses to have his photo taken - spoilsport!!! You can't really lose buying Ariat, if they don't fit you'd make money on them on ebay. I'm trying not to buy myself a pair of the Bromonts - on offer at £165.....

He's looking a bit grumpy now, says there are sites for stuff like that!!! I was very impressed with the service - email to say they'd been dispatched and arrived quickly. They look very smart too, I also bought him the short boots for not much more than the chaps should have cost.
