OK, until recently I had 3 dogs, a senior lurcher, dog, castrated and a castrated 6 year old boxer and a slutty entire 2 year old lab bitch.
Whenever the lab was in season the lurcher took possession and guarded her, he would try to hump her but never managed anything.
The lurcher sadly was PTS with kidney failure 4 weeks ago, aged 11.
Lab is now in season, boxer has been asexual previously . She is day 17/18, no discharge and I have just found them tied in the garden!
Bitch tried to run to me, looking pretty pleased with herself, dragging poor boxer behind her, he slid out, looking pretty embarrassed!
Neither dog appears to be in pain and both look normal.
Should a long time castrated dog be able to manage to penetrate and tie?
If not should I somehow be expecting the patter of tiny Boxerdors, or would they be Labradoxers?
