My 6month old lab pup ate the above when out with my mum Thursday there was no way she could get it off him. He didn't exactly lie eating it just chomped and swallowed basically hole.
He has been fine except Sunday and last night he vomited twice. Nothing in day just middle of night. Both nights not bought anything up. He is still having normal stools and is wormed. Still has typical lab appetite.
Do i need to be concerned or is it just a coincidence the vomit or as he isn't fed raw normally? Or is it a phone call and vet visit- im trying not to be paranoid and take him for no reason as the pattern seems odd vomiting
thanks sorry its long- free pup to anyone who can cope with the stress!!

Won't be the last one he eats ! He will be fine.

Look forward to him eating............hoof trimmings = sprayed poo everywhere,
moorhen = no effect, cow muck = sick, horse muck =sick, half sack of carrots = sprayed poo everywhere, rotten pheasant = sick, badger poo = sick and poo everywhere.

I could go on !

He will be absolutely fine, don't worry - it's quite natural and his system will cope very well (even if it does have to eject the overload for a while!! :))

I have a whippet that does this on a regular basis, the only part that makes her sick is if she eats the guts, otherwise EVERYTHING gets eaten, really fast. There is no way she will give me her prize.

Our Lancashire Heeler killed her first rabbit when she was 7months old but was stopped from eating it as it had Mixxi. Whatever ours kill they eat and that includes Wood Pigeons feathers and all, your dog will be absolutely fine.

Oh boy, have I got some fun to come. We have a 9 week old lab puppy. Already he tries to nick the loo roll holder, pinch bits of coal and wood from the fireplace and happily chews on dead plants in the garden. I find myself following him everywhere in case he picks up something he shouldn't. It's like having a young human baby in the house again but his character makes up for his naughty times. So glad we got him though.

Ha ha well atleast he is normal. Iv obviously been lucky none of previous have done it before!
Yes dunthing that's how i was but he is lovely so im glad we got him but he is gross eats all left overs when cats kill birds or mice to! Coal is imfact mines fave chew toy

Our dog used to do this but he's too old to catch them now (doesn't stop him finding manky rotten ones mind!), he then used to throw them up - pretty much whole. Disgusting little hound!!! :)

my girl got lucky and once caught and ate 5 in one day
that was a little
so i wouldn't worry about just one baby one

thanks for these stories. Impressed by the seagull catcher! He is now fine- spoke to my uncle -a vet. On his advice he said give him tea later and a biscuit at bed time as he is in a growth stage he prob being sick as hungry and nothin to do with rabbit!
I look forward (or not) to what he may eat next-doubt it will be a rival for the bird catcher he doesn't even no what they are!
