I am going to put my horse out on part loan but i am not sure what to charge i would muck out monday to friday. The other people would be doing most of the riding 4 days to my 1. He will still be kept at my place, would £15 a week plus half of the hay and feed bill and shoes, feed and hay would only be about another £10 so £25 in total a week or is it to much. And what about any vet bills should i pay them or should it be half each. Sorry to go on it's just that he was going to go out on full loan, but these people have come along and i don't want to lose them just for the sake of part loan i just want somebody to ride him as i don't get much time with my other 2 horses. Advice needed what would you guys charge ?

I think £25-30 a week sounds reasonable for what you are offering. Not sure about vet bills, you should probably pay them unless it's obviosly the loaner's fault. Prehaps go halves on shoeing.

When i was sorting out how much to charge, i added up all the monthly expenses - livery, shoes, feed, etc... then worked out how much this added up to per day, and thats how much my sharer pays each day she does (you might want to add some for mucking out on top of that).
