hello all

I am hoping that you may be able to help me.

I have been asked to look into costs to purchase some temporary fence posts for our riding club. I have seen the ones I think we need - only trying to trace the manufacturer and a stockist is proving to be impossible.

The posts I am looking for I believe are used to fence off courses for fell running etc. they are a bit like a white electric fence post, only they are square, and the ones I have seen have a red top with a spike on the bottom.

we at the moment use proper wooden posts that take 2 people to put in the ground and are very time consuming. I saw these posts at a BSJA outdoor show in cumbria but unfortunately they can't remember where they got them from either!

I have sourced a company which sells them in packs of 10, sadly they also come with rope and other bits that we don't need. because of the other bits these packs come in, they cost about £10 a post! the company won't supply just the posts.

We need around 150 posts, any one any ideas? also links would be great. and before anyone suggests - unfortunately electric fence posts will not be sufficient :(

thanks in advance :)

We use pig fencing electric posts that have a double prong at the bottom. Also remember you are meant to have safety breaks in the rope. We use velcro every 20m or so. Very annoying as you can't get the rope taut!

Thanks for your help

Maesfen has found exactly what we were looking for! How many did you own as we have around 150 wooden posts and can rope off 3 rings plus warm ups. Not sure if we will need as much if we use these.
