I have tried searching to see if there are any other threads on this so sorry if it has already been done.

Does any one have any experience or help in finding an insurance company that will cover my bitch for pre existing conditions. She tore her cruciate ligament on her right hind 3 years ago and had the operation to help mend it. I stupidly did not have he insured (I know I'm and idiot but to be honest I probably would only have had a yearly cover that would now not cover it anyway). I am trying to find an insurance company that will cover her left hind which she is still sound on. I know they exist but i am really struggling to find one. I know i will need to pay more but just really really want to find one.

Can any one help?! All suggestions welcomed, but please dont just tell me how silly I was as I know that already :(

You will be hard pushed/find it impossible near enough to find one that will cover pre existing problems as they will literally wipe said issue prom policy but that should not include good leg? not unless they are going on the basis of "huge possibility the left will go too, as they commonly do" who have you tried so far?

Thanks for your reply. I know they will unfortunately no insure the bad leg but as you said i am struggling to find one that will cover the good leg. I have tried Direct Line, Tesco, Go Compare, Pet Plan, Pet Protect, Pet-insurance, Healthy Pets (I was pushing my luck with this one he he). I am currently speaking to Animal Friends to see what they say. It is daft though as I understand they might not cover another cruciate damage but they wont cpover cuts, breaks, infections etc?
