Help Needed - Pony for Loan. Essex & Surrounding.

Hey everyone.

I always find myself asking for your help. My little 14.1hh mare is retired to grass but I have just found my rent be doubled for the winter and cannot afford to find this extra money.

Fudge is a bay, 21 year old mare. She is sound and rideable albeit only light work. She is a beautiful little lady, and only turned away due to no suitable livery yards being around where I now live.

I am now looking for someone to love her as I do, short term or long term. I would like her to go to an adult home, no children are to ride her and she is not suitable for novices. She is a snaffle mouth but is strong and forward going. Easy to Load, shoe (Is barefoot managed and need to continue to be) and can just be slow to catch as she gets to know you. Only myself & my dad have ever really spent lots of time with her over the last 10 years.

This is heartbreaking as I still visit her regularily. Ideally want her new home within Essex but will consider further away for the right home.

Where in Essex are you FriendlyGinger? I'm looking for a horse/pony to share my field until next Spring as my mare's turned out on her own at the moment. It might be near enough/affordable enough for you, or we might be able to come to an arrangement for me to do the work if you are too far to poo pick etc on a daily basis. I'm in Colchester.
