you can buy them and attach a bit to them ...
and then unclip it and use it as a headcollar

I think you mean the webbing endurance bridles they have a bit attachment and can be used as a headcollar too. Robinsons sell them.

Zilco do an endurance bridle that is also a headcollar - is that what you're thinking of?

you can also buy attatchments so you can fit a bit to an ordinary headcollar. this would be to gain bit more control while leading.
