Problem is - horse will not load!
Bess had a nasty accident in a box years ago and now just point blank refuses to load.
Having another horse on board has been tried, lunge lines round her back end, food, easy loader harness thing. Its hard to tell if she's genuinely scared or trying it on sometimes. Friend is desperate to get out and about and compete so is looking for some help.

She needs someone with experience of working through these sorts of problems that can travel to our yard ideally with their own box.

If anyone knows of someone who can help - please reply! :D

I would definitely recommend Suzanne Marshall, who is a Recommended Associate for Intelligent Horsemanship. She's based in Kent and is very experienced in helping both horses and their owners.

Alternatively, Monty Roberts is giving a demonstration at Hadlow College in Tonbridge on 28th September and their team are always looking for bad loaders to work with! http://www.intelligenthorsemanship.co.uk/do-you-have-a-horse-suitable-for-demonstrations.html

Best of luck to your friend.

I'd recommend Richard Maxwell,
that said h gave me enough skills to enable me to teach my very bolshy youngster to load ... see another thread
