I would like to follow a hunt on foot I have never been hunting and am too scared to do it on horseback without seeing what goes on first.

Can anyone help me? I am in the peterborough area

Thanks in advance

foot followers are not normally charged but usually join the hunt supporters. Talk to the sec, or chair of the hunt supporters and see if you can get a lift with someone knowledgeable. They will enjoy educating you and you will have a fascinating day.

Have you considered beagling? You can really get in with the action. If the fuzz ask you any questio, just tell them you're monitoring it. Which of course you are.

Basically you can do your best to keep up with the hounds, watch them work and watch them chasing and killing hares and the law can't touch you. If it could then all the LACS monitors would be up before the beak.

By the way CPS advice is that followers can't be touched by the Hunting Act. I beleive that includes those on foot as well in cars and on horses.
