Help on pictures please

Can some one please explain how you embed a picture in a post please.

Firstly you have to create an account with www.photobucket.com

Ok - tell me how it works with photobucket and I'll see if that works with flickr - should - but I think I am being a little stupid.

flickr should be fine!

Take the URL (eg the web address) for the image and then put it in the middle of some [ *img] tags (without stars) so it will read

[*img]http://flickr.com/whatever/whatever/image.jpg[*/img] (again taking out stars!)

Can you resize them on flickr as it is quite big!

Yes - can make it smaller - but how did you do it.

When you go to post a picture in the there is a box which says "image" If you click on that then another box will come up and you just put the web address in there it it does everything for you!
