Wondered if anyone might have some ideas on where to get this bit from. Or if any other companies make something similar ?
It's the Stubben double jointed snaffle with a lozenge . It 'locks' into a Mullen mouth shape when you pull the bit rings so they don't have that nutcracker effect and the bit is stable in the mouth.
I need a full cheek fulmer or a D- ring. These bits are also known as the EZ control bits.
Can only find loose ring versions in the Uk & horse will not take a loose ring!

A quick Google of "danger bit" comes up with horsebitbank.com (no idea how good they are, never heard of them) - they have a D ring version. I've never heard of these as "EZ control" bits, but from your description I thought you were describing a "danger bit". Maybe try Googling that term and see what else you get, if that's actually what you meant (and I haven't read it totally wrong :p )?
