Hi
This is my first post here so all help really appreciated! My 10yr old daughter has been cubbing for the last 5 saturdays and is totally hooked (and going very well).

She will be hunting throughout the season if things go well but that is obviously not guaranteed.

My query is how unacceptable will it be to hunt in a tweed coat? Very friendly local hunt but don't want to make a complete faux pas! I would willingly invest in a decent jacket but finances are ridiculously tight and I am not even certain how dedicated she will be once the weather turns.

All comments genuinely appreciated as not sure what to do for the best.

Thank you ;-)

Hello! Youngsters should be in tweed jackets, it is incorrect for them to be in blue or black, so you're off the hook.
Make sure she is as smart as possible with plaited pony, and a pocket full of chocolates! :) X

I'm sending my 12 yo daughter out in her tweed. First meet on her own horse - GULP! Double dose of instant calmer for me never mind the horse...

Hope she has a good time.
