about on the saturday to wash plait etc so asked everybody to let me know what they wanted doing with regards to clipping, pulling etc last weekend so I could get it done this week while I am off - got 2/3 requests and thought fab, nice and easy !!! Today have had 10 more requests for clipping etc and think I may have to go off into a darkened room

All of a sudden parents that don't take any interest in the pony all year want me to create a show pony out of a tatty coloured cob . We have a really gorge mini coloured - proper hairy mary who when washed looks fab and the owner asked me today if I can hog her and take her feathers off - met with a big resounding noooooo

They have all gone mad . If I survive the weekend will try and post some pictures of the little herberts

Awwww.........the pics would be great!

I got roped into plaiting more ponies than I ever wanted to, the other weekend too! It amazes me how many people can't plait neatly! Just don't bite off more than you can chew...

Hehehe, you will be fine. I would be there if i could to help out although plaiting is not my forte.

You gave them plenty of time to give you requests, so it's their own fault if it doesn't happen - you are only human, just as long as the big coloured looks gorgeous

I've got to try and give my horse a run out as well as he has his qualifiers the next weekend . Think its going to be a busy one !!! Trouble is a my yard there is a lot of horsey kids but not so many horsey parents - may have to try and educate a few this weekend

Of course the billster will be getting special attention

Have said no to hogging the other coloured but will be attacking your old boy with some clippers tomorrow

Dylan is finally out of giraffe mode thanks to auntie zoe so it is all systems go I think - oohhh also have the racing box for the weekend woop woop!!!

hurrah for Aunty Zoe, is she not going then?

I second the idea of a Turnout Master class thingy - some of them are more than capable of doing it themselves. It's their pony and their show, you need to focus on the gira *cough* Dylan pony to bring home your red ribbons.

Shes going but she has the two evil welshies in tow so needed her to knock me into shape today

For once in his life he is going to be the easy one to get ready - we have one girl getting back from magaluf at 3pm on sat ,one who doesn't finish working till 6pm and has never done a show in her life and some form of random competitiveness between two families - its all gone mad . I am just going to plait until people stop putting ponies in front of me

They can't be evil - they are too cute.

yah, that sounds like fun, your fingers are going to ache!

Just get your boy in the box and go have fun at the party

Thats the plan not sure whether to risk little box with him or not as he is doing so well with the bigger one. He is going to have to go in some time tho as I haven't got the right license for the big beast

Has he gone on a trip since his knock? If not, take him in the big one so both of you see it's not an issue anymore, then you can try him in the mini beast.

The oracle has spoken
