Is there anything I can do to stop it? Police say they can't do anything but were really worried as we have some quite valuable horses in the field. Were not far from the place where the pony was mutilated in its field a couple of months ago and were really worried sick. We first saw smoke in the trees beside the field when we were driving home (it looked like the trees were on fire but they arent) and they have lit a barbeque. Its a large group of men in their early to mid teens. The bbq is only a few metres from the field. I know one of the horses is terrified of smoke after an incident a few years ago. Argh! I don't want my horses to get hurt/run through a fence from the smoke etc. The police wont even drive past to keep an eye on them (the people, not the horses). We cant see the field from the house. Does the land reform act mean people can camp on domestic land (we had change of use from agriculture)? Is lighting a bbq beside a horse field near trees 'responsible'?
