Hi I would really like some advise...
Has anybody ever had a horse that has done an injury that has made it look like a crab at the back end but walk straight at the front? What was it and how long did it take to get right? The vet has been out and said the horse isnt in pain and to box rest, walk in hand and bute, and didn;t seem too worried about the crab walk? Ideas would be very welcomed! Thanks.

Get a second opinion and/or a back specialist- thats not normal!

Thanks vet did what I think were nerve tests, said it was all ok, and has said bute and box rest, said horse in no pain, just discomfort, it can weight bear on all four and also can lay down and get up. It is getting better and the 'crabbing' is getting less, but still doing it, although vet said only 2/10 lame?

2/10 lame, at most, vet said. Didn't think abcess causing it, but that it might have one and be making it worse.
