OH would like a pair of long leather boots he can ride in but not "riding boots" style. He likes the Country-style type of boot with a chunky sole, size 45, for all-year round use, something like a Toggi Canyon (they don't go up to his size!) but it needs to be fairly plain and not "girlie" (his word!) so the pull-ons and anything with laces are a no-no. And he wants to pay around £100 or a little over, so that knocks out Mountain Horse. I've tried the usual manufacturers as well as Cabotswood and Kanyon but I can't think of anyone else. But it has really highlighted how some areas of equestrianism just aren't geared towards men and their "plain" tastes at all

Any ideas please??

I have a pair of Tuffa Sussex boots, my other half has the Tuffa Suffolks, the main difference beng the soles (mine are more like a riding boot, hers are more grippy) otherwise they're pretty similar.

They're super comfy, waterproof and perfect for everything! I prefer riding in them to riding in my riding boots! :)
