Help please. Callouses on elbows, any suggestions?

Is there anything I can use to prevent callouses forming on elbows please?

My 18 month old GSD has very small, but definite, ones. What can I do?

He has carpetting and a mattress he can lie on, but with the weather getting hotter he prefers to lie on the concrete outside in the yard or the cooler tiles in the dog room.

I dont think there is much you can do once they're there, both our older dogs have them, we have now really beefed up their bedding etc. but I think it is just what happens to some, not sure what else to suggest really, they aren't nice though!

Ours have always had them, nothing you can do....you can give them numerous options, but some just like to lie on gravel/concrete slabs.

I have been recommended neem oil for this

Maybe worth a try? Or Camrosa (bit messy tho)...

My lab has a bald elbow - he chooses to sleep on hard floors even though he has a selection of beds

Anyway - I have ordered some neem oil for mine
