Help please dangerous horses on the loose!

Somone as let some horses loose on the moors near our livery yard (a mare, foal & stallion), shire types. We think we know who they belong to and he does have grazing rights for cattle but these horses are causing chaos. Yesterday when my friends went up there they came charging up behind them, one girl fell off, luckily unhurt but apparently someone was injured the day before whilst riding up there alone.

Does anyone know who to contact? Police, council, or anyone else.

I would also point out that they are on the Mary Townley Loop which is part of the Pennine Bridleway so it does need sorting out.

I'd get in touch with everyone you can think of, it sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

The council is probably your best bet. The police won't be interested.

I have contacted the council and had no reply yet. The police say they will investigate (we'll see). Fingers crossed they will be rounded up soon.
