Ok so am planning on turning my 3 1/2 year away for a few months, have looked locally and now obviously isn't the best time of year to be looking for good grazing.

I have found somewhere local but i'm not 100% sure if it is where I want to send her so thought I would ask on here.

She is 16.3hh WB mare and I am looking for her to preferably be turned out with other youngsters or failing that be in a field with other horses where she won't be left on her own. If its not close to home I would like there to be someone around that can just check her over on a daily basis.

I have thought about calling local studs / breeders but am unsure about the response I would get - is it a bit cheeky?

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks thats so kind. Think thats the problem though wrong time of year!!! Think i'll try phoning some of the local studs that have herds of youngsters running to see if they can help

I'm at a really good yard already but our turnout is limited to alternate day due to the wet ground. We also don't have just grass livery and although I can turn her out 24/7 when the weather gets better its a very expensive option.
