I am looking for a very competent someone to re- back my rather large Warmblood 19hh. He has had an extremely bad start in life with his previous owner including beatings, and who admitted to me that she had in the past ridden him in a saddle that pinched him! I wonder why he bucked her off!? He has also suffered a horrendous accident in the past and was left without treatment, so there is a lot of damage and scar tissue. So, he needs to be re-started very tactfully. He is a very kind hearted horse who does his best to please and so I do not want him tied down or chased around by some carrot stick wielding nutter. Can anyone recommend someone who fits the bill; kind, knows when to back off but confident to continue when he throws his toys out of the pram. I have backed all my horses myself in the past but am now spending a lot of time away travelling with work.
