i really need some advice on the best course of action for my 2 horses, both are 12, both are barefoot, one is an Arab , he is in great condition and has never been shod, the one i need advice on is a PRE who had been over worked when younger( according to my vet) he has a very clicky hock and is often very stiff in the mornings, he is never lame but obviously there is a problem there, the vet can find nothing majorly wrong , just had a hard life, i have both the horses on Biotin and a balancer.. 365 Complete by Equine Answers, my land is very tired from the previous owners neglect but we are starting to improve it bit by bit, should i change the vit/min balancer to a joint supplement? or do i introduce another just for the PRE, will he then have too much of something? ahhh it's so confusing! please help!!

Join the turmeric user group on fb, there is literally hundreds of people on there who have had success with their stiff/ arthritic horses! Also micronised linseed might help support his joints a bit? As well as being really good for his feet :) I would keep the vit/ min supplement as he needs it for his feet and either turmeric, linseed or both. And no he won't have too much of it. My older slightly stiff horse is on alfa a molasses free, speedi beet, turmeric, micronised linseed, cracked black pepper (need to feed it with turmeric) and then a vit min supplement. He looks great on all that.
