Ok, I know everyone hates these but I need help as I haven't sold or bought for years.

As my 13.2hh's loaner has let me down I have decided to sell him so he finds a permanent home. - No idea if i'm thinking of right price though.

He is 13.2hh black, reg welsh gelding, 19/20 years old (will need to check) looks about 8. No health problems whatsoever, very forward going but easy to stop, goes on bit, fantastic showjumping or cross country, 100% in traffic and shoes, catch all the rest of it, likes to load slowly!! But does go on, just have to take about 5 minutes over him so he's comfortable to go on. Would not sell him if he was just a bit bigger. He really is a pony in a million and doesn't want to stop working, I just feel he deserves more than the lungeing I can offer him inbetween teenage girls who always lose interest or move away!

I was thinking £1000 inc tack and some rugs?? any thoughts??

Thank you so much!!

i think that is fine. i think the age could bother some people thogh i have recently got an 18 year old 14.2 mare and she is fab.

Ooow, he sounds lovely. I think he would be snapped up by some parents as a 2nd pony, sounds perfect!

If I could afford it I would have him, I love the golden oldies and he sounds like my type. I bet he would do well in top level veteran classes, I love watching the veteran champs at Olympia.

yes he is my superstar, took him to local show recently and judge in showing nearly fainted when his loaner told her how old he is!!

just want to find someone nice for him, not really bothered about the money, as long as they will treasure him!!

will be heartbreaking to let him go though
