My horse has ridiculously brittle and cracked hooves. Been using aqueous cream through reccommendations before I buy an expensive supplement but it hasn't made any difference at all. :(

My farrier has advised using NAF pro feet? Does anyone have ay experiences with this product? and what will be the difference between the liquid and the powder?

Thank youu :)

I had to use both these products, but found the liquid worked more than the powder. they have slightly different ingredients from each other. But after using the recomended dose on the liquid for a while, i moved it down to twice a day once it was in her system. it worked a treat!

I have used both Kevin Bacon's hoof dressing and his hoof supplement and I have to say they are both brilliant, although the supplement is very very pricey! I am currently feeding my boy a balancer that has enough of the nutrients normally in hoof supplements so I don't have to feed one. I can't say if it's working as yet, I'll be able to tell in three months. It actually works out cheaper than the KB supplement even though it has a hoof supplement, joint supplement and pretty much everything a horse needs apart from fibre in it.

Sorry, went on a bit. Basically, hoof dressings won't drastically improve the quality of the hoof because the horse needs to produce good hoof horn in the first place. So you either need to feed a supplement (I have heard good things about NAF Pro feet) or something similar to what I'm feeding my boy.
