Help pleeease..2yr old by Randi...

My friend has just put a deposit on a 2yr old by the whitakers Randi

She is now panicking that he wont be big enough

as atm he looks very whippet like and not very tall(she realise's that he will have alot of growing and filling out to do,think it just the thought of paying out for something that wont make the height)he has just been thrown in a field with grass and hay..now i feel that with a bit of quality food it will help his growth development??what do you guys think??
Randi i believe is 16.2/3hh and the mare was 15.3(warmblood i believe)

so how big would you say he will be at maturity??i reckon 16/16.1hh

Frannieuk's Floppy is by Randi and she came to me at 4 quite weedy and not overly large but she grew a huge amount and she's now a fairly substantial horse who cant be much below 16.2

My previous mare by Randi made 15.3, her dam was a 15.2 Sports horse

Yup, Flops (rising 5) is now a good 16.2 and still has plenty of filling out to do, I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't get a little more height either. I'm not sure how big her dam was though - Teffy on here will be able to tell you as she bred her.
