*HELP* possible numpty hay making question

how windy does it have to be for newly cut/drying hay to blow away?

it would have to be exceptionally windy. we are out in the fens so very flat and exposed to the wind, haven't lost a crop so far (touching lots of wood right now!!).

its only our second year hay making so still learning the ropes! & hoping to get it cut this afternoon!

Would have to be well gusty to lose any hay. Although we did have a couple of mini whirlwinds when our hay was done 2 weeks ago which scattered it a fair bit. Nothing unrecoverable though!
