Should prob say, normally she's not extra large at all - she has two sets of equilibrium brushing/stretch n flex boots and she doesn't need the extra wide ones of those. She is a lightweight warmblood.
I had the full size open fronted tendon boots for a warmblood and I found that the straps werent long enough to fasten properly which left one of them dropping and I had to get off and do them up tighter, which was a little too tight IMO. So the boots fitted but the straps werent long enough. I too had the rugs at the normal fit for my horses and they fitted both perfectly.
Yes I too found the length long but the width not wide at all. I can just about wrap the size large sports boot round my boys legs, hes 16.1 but has a good 9 inches of bone.
