Hi guys
I have a huge problem, can't believe my own stupidity!
I bought my first horse, Gerry, about 6 weeks ago. The owner didn't deliver him but a friend of hers, she said it was a favour. Anyway, when he arrived that friend said he'd forgotten the passport. I didn't think anything of it as I was so happy to have Gerry with me and the owner said she was going to come and see him anyway in the next week and bring the passport.
Well, that was six weeks ago... I've sent her several emails, she's always said she'd post the passport but I still haven't received it.
Any tips what I can do? The thing is I haven't even got a receipt that Gerry's actually mine, all I have is some emails and obviously my bank statement where I can prove I paid for him.
I know, how could I be so stupid! I've heard I can get a replacement passport issued for him - can I do this without any real proof that he's actually mine? It just feels so wrong, the owner did show me his passport when I went to see him the first time, I just want to register him and make sure his jabs are all up to date.
Any help will be appreciated.
