OK so yesterday got my confidence back up by riding a proper affiliated Show Jumping horse who has competed @ 1.m 40 ! Now we were only jumping a metre but with my confidence issues jumping it may as well have been 1m 40!
I have a young Mare who is starting to jump but as she is so young she cat leaps which has thrown me off balance which has resulted in couple of falls which is why I have decided to take weekly lessons on my friends horse as I feel it will benefit the way I jump my own Mare in the long run.
After the couple of falls off my own horse have pretty much not short of developed a " Hunter style jumping seat" ( dont chuck horse though, I give with the reins..) friend was happy with my position but said I just need to be that little bit more forward but not exaggerated as most people do.
Any tips???? As am on a roll now back jumping & don't want to slide back to where I was.
