Help Rubber Matting!

Right everyone I need urgent help! My mare is having KS surgery next week...the rehab yard she is going to is nr hungerford (i live in somerset!) and i need to buy rubber matting as it isnt provided...the local feed merchant there has quoted them £43/mat (i'll need 6) this is way too much I dont have that kind of spare cash....when I was at uni I managed to wangle 4 good thick mats for 100 quid and they delivered for free (it was literally round the corner..)

Basically anyone ever ordered matting.....

Pick it up at my local tack shop for £39 a mat. Have you tried e-bay?

Im in the same situation!! Ive been looking at horsemat on the internet and they delivery and have differnt types there cheapest is £14.50. Not sure what their delivery charges are thou.

I bought my mats on Ebay - well worth the money at £21 a mat (I purhased 6). Always go for at least the 18mm ones - the thicker the better!

I use equimat...may be expensive initially, but is lighter than many of the black rubber mats so easier to move, gives cushioning, and I wouldn't be without mine. Sorted out my capped hocks even which my pony got no matter what bedding she was on.

Ooo and as they are prob at HOYS...you should be able to get demo from them cheaper...I did when I got mine!!!
