It's only been 3 months since I had my Silhouette jumping saddle and Isabell Wintec dressage saddle fitted to my horse at first they felt ok, however, I began to notice that both saddles where moving quite far back. I went to the saddle fitter and he said it was because of his shoulders and that it was ok! But shortly after that Bacardi became sore in his back and now I'm having to get a physiotherapist out for him and the saddles just don't look comfortable
He has already had two saddles prior to these fitted by a different saddle fitter but we were ripped off by the guy and now have no faith in anyone!!!
Bacardi is a difficult shape to fit to as he is young and he does need to build on top line, but I can't begin this until I have a saddle that is comfortable for me and (horse More important). He has huge shoulders on him and that was why we got him a straight cut dressage saddle to try to free up his shoulder and I only rode in the jumping saddle for competitions and lessons to relieve any restriction. His back looks very flat with a square bum haha (a bit like a table) this is because of a slight roach in he middle of his back witch has been checked and causes no problems.
I have looked at WOW saddles and they look like they might work with all the options there is a WOW supplier in Durham that I might talk to once he has had the physiotherapist out. Any good saddle fitters out there????? Any advice or thoughts would be a great
thanks for reading will try to get photos.
