After some recent difficulties with my rather large youngster I am looking at all the options for bringing him on either now, or after being turned away for winter.
One of the options I am considering is sending him away for schooling and hacking which part of me is loathed to do as we have got this far so it seems a shame to hand over to someone else now.
The other option is to have an intensive course of sessions at my yard with a knowledgable (someone who is used to dealing with big, intelligent youngsters ideally) instructor. This would possibly consist of 3 sessions a week initially whereby in one they may teach me, in another they may ride him and in another we may hack out together - them on a borrowed horse and me on mine or vice versa.
Can anyone recomend anyone in hertfordshire or south beds or bucks that might be willing to help?
