help-siggy sizing

hiya
am trying to add pics to my siggy but they are huuuuge! Have resized in photbucket to an avatar size but they are still huge in siggy?

I alway put mine to thumbnail in photobucket (I think).

Nope have checked and I resize to avata, which is only 75 pixels high so fine for siggy, if I want them even smaller I edit them in paint.

I've given up trying to do mine. I have Paint, and FinePixViewer but none will allow me to resize to 80 sq pixels. Smallest it will allow is 600 sq.

I don't understand.......!!!

I don't either! Plus I have no idea how to resize in paint!
