Not sure if I'm looking for the impossible. Am willing to pay good money to keep my horse at livery or with some-one who'd like company for their own horse/self. Am able to look after own horse but if it suits am willing to pay for part/full livery. I work away one week a month and sometimes take him if weather and workload permits, so he'd need to be looked after during this time. Tho OH can do basics, but unless horse is on his back with his legs up in the air, he wouldn't be able to tell whether horse is well or not!

I have a very well mannered gelding who is both horse and person friendly (as am I). I don't do anything wildly exciting these days but enjoy good hacking (am sensible). I enjoy schooling him but is for my pleasure and his development rather than desperately wanting to compete, tho you never know ...

There's no rush as he is in a wonderful yard but it costs me more in travelling each day than it does to keep him there.

Any ideas, gratefully received.
