My two mares are on DIY on a rented yard. We share with my sister and friend. Two mares share one paddock, my elderly mare and gelding in another.
basically my daughters pony shares with the friend and mine is currently with my sister. I work four 12 hour shifts then have four off. My daughter does the four I work and I help with the other four on my rota.
i feel hard done by due to people thinking no one does mine. The truth is they all see my daughter up there but at the weekends I have to do them as Hannah is at her dads so some nights I am up there at 8.30 pm ( visits are spread between the four of us).
My daughter and I do our share but because I am up there late everyone thinks I am not bothering. I am so angry about this as before my friend came on ( a favour as she was thrown off her last yard and I took pity) my daughter and I always worked on my sister doing morning checks and us sharing the evenings depending on my college and later working hours. Now I am feeling bullied by my sister and my friend as because I can't be ere with everyone else they think no one else goes up.
ApRt from poo picking I move things so people know someone has been there.
Also my friend doesn't school but I do as I like veteran showing but all she does is hack and if I go up without her I feel awful. She only hacks but I have to keep my mares in mental order as well as physical for veteran showing. The problem is her mare won't school in the paddock so I end up giving up and hacking when I would like to scroll a couple of times a week?
I have never shared with anyone but my sister before and I feel bullied by them to 'conform' but my mares hVe been kept my way for 20 years+ and we have never had any issues till letting someone share the land.
what would you so to make things better on both sides?
