Hi - I have a Terrano II 2.7TDI SWB. I am convinced that this can tow up to 2800kg's, although only up to 85% of this maximum is recommended. My Partner does not agree he believes that it should only tow up to 85% of its kerb weight. I know this is the "general" rule for "general" cars but a 4x4 is designed with towing in mind. Everything I have read so far on the web says it can tow 2800kg's braked. - Does anyone have a definitive answer and a link to a official website that will put this rest once and for all?
