Hi,
Basically i live in the Forest of dean, gloucestershire an me and my family are moving to Edmonton, canada.
I have two horses: A 14 year old gelding, he is very very flighty and acts like a 2 year old. My other horse is rising 3 but acts 4X her age and is generally very quiet however when she gets bored or when told off she likes to jump... an she will jump anything.
What will be required to transport them over to Canada?
What are the prices to transport them over roughly per horse??
Could we get transport from the airport in canada to the livery yard? if so are there any good hire horsebox companies??
Would i be able to fly with them?

Also i have two dogs (a lurcher and border collie) that need to be taken over aswell, would they be on the same plane?

Many thanks
Abbie

You need to contact Doyles who are based in Canada. Website is www.doylebloodstock.ca and e-mail contact is doylebloodstock@bellnet.ca

They will be able to give you all the necessary information regarding bloodtests etc and arrange all the necessary paperwork and quarantine both here and in Canada as you will not be able to take the ponies direct from the airport to your livery yard.

If you contact Doyles direct they will quote a lot cheaper than some English Firms for the same job
